Sheffield Wednesday are calling on their supporters to fill Hillsborough for Saturday's League One fixture against Stockport County. Tickets for the Lower West Stand are now available, priced from £24 for adult members and just £5 for under 14s.
Manager Henrik Pedersen issued a direct appeal to the fanbase. "We’re calling on Wednesdayites to make the difference and bring the noise from all sides of Hillsborough!" Pedersen said.
The push for a big crowd comes with the team sitting top of the table. Sheffield Wednesday have 13 points from six games, holding a one-point lead at the summit of League One. Their recent form shows three wins, one draw, and one loss from the last five outings.
Pedersen's side is currently on an unbeaten run that includes victories over Wycombe and Peterborough, plus a 0-0 draw with Wigan last time out.
Forward J. Lowe has been a key figure in the strong start, leading the team's scoring charts with four goals in six appearances. The club hopes a vocal home support can help extend their positive momentum against an eighth-placed Stockport side. Following this match, Wednesday will travel to face Port Vale on Tuesday night.
