Sheffield Wednesday manager Henrik Pedersen has confirmed the Championship club remains active in the free-agent market for final squad additions. He expanded on the challenge, noting the quality threshold for any new arrival. "It’s a difficult market sometimes." Pedersen stated. "I’m really, really pleased with the squad we have. In a more speculative note, it has been suggested the Owls face competition from Wrexham and Brazilian side Sao Paulo for veteran striker Jamie Vardy. Another potential target is Marcus Forss, an experienced forward who played a part in Bolton Wanderers' playoff success last season and is currently a free agent after leaving Middlesbrough. A short-term contract for Forss could be considered to add depth.
